Hollywood Celebrities Who Killed Other People

The world of a celebrity can be very strange as they live their lives under a microscope. With the public watching their every move, it makes it all the more shocking and heartbreaking when they cause another person’s death.

Some of your favorite stars have actually taken and been accused of taking another person’s life. Many times, it’s by accident. But other times, it’s actual murder. Here’s a list of actors, musicians, famous athletes, and even a former first lady who have killed other people.

1. Matthew Broderick

Back in 1987, actor Matthew Broderick was driving on a Northern Ireland roadway with his then-girlfriend and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off co-star, Jennifer Grey, when a terrible crash occurred.

At one point, and perhaps out of his American habit, Broderick mistakenly crossed over onto the right side of his lane. The actor’s rented vehicle ended up colliding with another car driven by Anna Gallagher, 28. She and her mother, Margaret Doherty, 63, who was the passenger, both died of their injuries shortly after the accident.

Broderick was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, which was later reduced to careless driving and fined $175.

2. Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner was involved in a deadly car crash in 2015. While driving on a highway in Malibu, California, Jenner’s SUV rear-ended a Lexus driven by Kim Howe, 70. The impact sent Howe’s vehicle careening into oncoming traffic. Her Lexus was then hit by a Hummer and she was killed. Seven other people were hurt in the crash, but Jenner was not.

The former Olympian was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing in the accident and reached a settlement to pay $800,000 to the members of Howe’s family.

3. O.J. Simpson

The image of former NFL star and actor O.J. Simpson sitting in a courtroom on trial for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, is one many people will never forget.

In June 1994, the two were found brutally stabbed to death at Brown Simpson’s residence and the ex-Buffalo Bills running back was charged with their murders.

In October 1995, Simpson was acquitted, but he was later found liable for the slayings in a wrongful death suit.
